Which side?
It is not important which side you belong to
It is not important who you support
because it is not necessarily you alone that determined which side you would belong to
or who you would support
Whichever side you belong to, if you intentionally try to put someone down by lies and tactics, then you'd better get ready to be exposed before the judgment of the universe
If you try to put someone down without knowing the real truth, then there will be a room for you to be forgiven
If you happen to naively believe in lies without realizing they are lies, then there will be a room for you to be forgiven
The bottom line is that you cannot treat your family member this way--put him down by lies and tactics--when you say with your own month that you believe we are one family.
Anyway, nobody needs to judge you
nobody needs to know what you are doing, because you know it.

Unfortunate people
Unfortunate are those who have no chance to examine what the facts are
More unfortunate are those who do not even want to have a chance to examine what the facts are
Further more unfortunate are those who intentionally hide what the facts are
Way further more unfortunate are those who manipulate people to not to want to examine what the facts are

When you are in conflict...
If your opponent attacks you--lies to you, blames you, seems to be tricking you, etc...
How do you feel?
Do you feel upset? irritated? frustrated? anger? hatred? resentment?
or, do you feel sorry? sympathy? deep love? repentance?
If you feel rather former than the latter, then you may be on the wrong track, or, you may be in the process of failure
If you feel rather latter than the former, then you may be on the right track, or, you may be in the process of victory
Of course, there is no such thing as "absolute" in this kind of thing
Just some idea to check how you are doing
