Right and wrong

I heard someone said this:

The difference between adult and child/adolescent is whether he can be conscious of the fact that someone else could view things differently from you, and could be correct

Children or adolescents think, "I am right, you are wrong."
Adults think, "I am right, and you can be right, too."

So, is he right? or, is he wrong? :-)
