Thank God....?

We survived
We are survivors
We could have been killed
But somehow we are still here

This reminds us of who we really are
We are one family
Sharing the same destiny
and the same mission

Let us deepen our commitment
and the sense of responsibility

It is still not over yet
Our family members are still there
Let us find out which part of this entire mission I can take
and let us fulfill that part
One step at a time

When you think you are idiot, think again

Why do you think you are idiot?
You may think you do not have some capability which everybody else has
But, what if you have that capability as everyone else?
Then, there's nothing special, and you will just live on without any problem
or, you may not need God to live on

Think what helped you to start seeking for God
Wasn't that something you thought you lack?
Without that lacking, you might not have chance to start seeking for God
So, what's lacking in you was the reason why you started seeking for God and found him

So, shouldn't you say, "Thank God for what is lacking in me!"

Why you cannot control yourself???

Why you cannot get up in the morning?
Why you cannot control your physical desire (hunger, lust, sleep, drink, etc.)?
Why you cannot control your emotion?
Why you cannot stop accusing yourself?
Why you cannot stop blaming someone?

These are essentially because you still have not found someone to live for.

Without having someone to live for, your life is a lonely one.

If your life is lonely now, then your life will be lonely as well when you get to the next world.

But, you are not meant to live that way; you are given the capability to search and find the one (starting from God...)

but how you use that capability is totally up to you; God reserved that special role for you (He didn't plan to take that role away from you)

and, while you exercise that role, you will be resembling him every step of the way--becoming his child, or, growing as his child!

When you are tempted to accuse yourself... (2)

(continued) ...and when you try to recognize what he does, then you will remember this quote:

"And when they came to the place which is called The Skull, there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on the right and one on the left.
And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." (Luke 23: 33-34)

you think you are unforgivable, and you may be right, and yet he begs God still to forgive you.
interpreting what he says "I will take responsibility for them. I will pay the price for them because I am their father. I will continually take responsibility to raise them to be good because I am their father..." with that love, he is livign with you.

So, there's no point of accusing yourself.

Instead, use such occasion to connetct to his love as your parent...

When you are tempted to accuse yourself...

...please remember that no one will be happy if you do so

and think about this quote:

...And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them,
"Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her."

And once more he bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground.

But when they heard it, they went away, one by one, beginning with the eldest, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him.

Jesus looked up and said to her,
"Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
She said, "No one, Lord."
And Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you; go, and do not sin again." (John 8: 7-11)

So, if he does not choose to condemn you, who do you think you are to condemn yourself?
Are you saying you are greater than him?

Before you do anything you think is good or bad, first pay attention to him--how much he already has given to you

Recognize it, and appreciate it

This should be the first priority.

Message for non-Korean people

If you did not do this yet, I strongly recommend you to watch Korean dramas if:
--you want to learn Korean language
--you want to learn about Korean culture (or, how they think, how they feel, what kind of emotion they share as a people, etc.)
--you are interested to find out what is God's reason for Korea

And eventually you will find out that the real life is more dramatic than the dramas
