Many times I found fortune cookies to be so amazing.
Last week when I ate Chinese dinner, I got this fortune cookie which says, "You have tasted sweet coffee before; now you know the bitter taste of coffee."
I was so shocked.
Last month a person whom I really respect told me how bad sugar and cream are for our health. I have always had coffee with sugar and half-and-half before. But she advised me with such a vivid and dramatic way with a clear point and clear proof, I totally changed my lifestyle regarding drinking coffee. I quitted my twenty years of drinking coffee with cream and sugar! Since then I only drink coffee in black.
Now, who knows what I did? During those twenty years, I ate Chinese food many times and I got many fortune cookies, but not this particular one. And just one month after I made this lifetime decision I got this particular one. Isn't that something?
Anyway, things like this happens often in my fortune cookie life.
