Fortune Cookies or Unfortunate Cookies...

As I eat cookies, I felt very bad. How can I just enjoy eating cookies without thinking anything when my brothers and sisters are dying in some part of the world, particularly now in Gaza and Israel? While I say we are one family under God, and eat cookies peacefully without thinking about them, what a selfish person I am! This selfishness is the problem. This selfishness is the cause of whole problems. If I want to contribute to the healing of the world's problems, I better start fixing my selfishness first. This war---cannot happen in one family. We are supposed to be the same family from Abraham. But now Abraham's children are hating and killing each other. What went wrong we lost the sense of one family?
