As I was driving today, I realized that the toll booths are my favorite spots, which often have been causing me to get upset. There are so many variety of these toll booths throughout US freeways and highways. When I am approaching some unfamiliar toll booth, it makes me nervous, worrying whether I would be successfully pick the right booth to enter. (since I always don't have EZ-Pass)
Today, however, I realized that I shouldn't allow this situation to continue anymore. Instead of I becoming the master of the toll booth, the toll booth has become the master of my temper. I determined to change this situation. I asked to myself what I should do first. Answer started to come:
* First, I should thank the toll booth--think about it, what could you do without the toll booth? You could not even enter into the tollway without the toll booth. Only because of the toll booth, you are able to enter into the tollway. Oh, my God! I didn't realize that. I just took it for granted.
* I am in charge of my life. That means that I am the one who need to make a choice which way to go. Now, look at a toll booth. They are even giving me different options that I can choose. They are even explaining the character of each booth so that I can make a right decision. They are there to help me go the right way. Oh, my goodness! I need to really thank them.
Somehow today, even though I passed through many sets of toll booths, I never got upset, but instead toll booths helped me to remind me of the importance of gratitude. Thank you, God!

I learned later that I need to look for a green arrow. This helps.
