Witch-hunt today? It's impossible.

"Witch-hunt was done by evil people," my friend said.
Is he really correct?

"Of course, otherwise, how could good people do such evil thing like witch-hunt?"

But, I don't think so. I believe the witch-hunt was done by pretty good people, or, "normal" people, who "claimed to love their church," and surely as you know, "in the name of God and the Pope=living representative of God." They did not want disturbing thing in their beloved church. They wanted "peace" in their church. They may have hated those "witches" or they may have loved them but sympathized with them, and maybe cried and prayed for them with tears so that they could somehow recant...

Therefore, watch out! If you are such good normal people, you might any time become someone who supports "witch-hunt" wholeheartedly, and this is what the future history will remember you about.
